Rheumatic disorders 500 mg-1 g daily as single or in 2 divided doses. Dysmenorrhea & acute musculoskeletal disorders Initially 500 mg followed by 250 mg every 6-8 hr. Acute gout 750 mg followed by 250 mg every 8 hr. Migraine 750 mg at the 1st symptom of an impending attack. Childn ≥2 yrJuvenile idiopathic arthritis 10 mg/kg daily in 2 divided doses.
Should be taken with food: Take immediately after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ASA or other NSAIDs. History of stroke, CVA; heart attack, MI; CABG; uncontrolled HTN; CHF (NYHA II-IV). Previous or active peptic ulceration.
